Greensboro Chant, Dance and Meditation
Join us for an evening of chant, meditation and sound bath.
From 7:30 – 9:30 pm, experience community and meditative practices with global chant, mantras from various spiritual traditions, including: Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Sufi, Indigenous and more. Global chanting from various traditions, such as Kirtan, Sufi Zikrs, Qawwali, Earth chants, Dances of Universal Peace. Bring one of your favorite chants for an opportunity to share. A short silent meditation will be included and the evening will end with a sound bath for deep relaxation. Sound bath includes: gong, bowls, chimes and more.
No musical or chanting experience required.
Please bring a mat, small blanket or bolster to sit on the floor.
Chairs and some floor sitting cushions will be provided.
No one turned away for lack of funds: Sliding scale suggested donation to help support ongoing activities of group: $10-$20.
